Vanity Fair HIVE is a news website that covers politics, business, and technology.
I led the UX/UI design for a landing page, player’s page, article page, and account page templates.
Even thought the timeline was tight, we were able to launch a MVP on schedule.
Product and Tech team: Product manager, Product designers, Developers
(My role: Art direction, UX/UI design)
Based on the MVP scope outline, I created simple UX maps to understand the user flow.
I sketched out all template layouts based on the requirements and listed out the contents and ad placements.
After defining the site look and feel, I created design templates in all breakpoints.
At the QA stage, I worked closely with front-end developers to refine the styling such as spacings and image renditions.
The site got 3.2 million page views in the first month,
our team received Condé Nast 2016 Second Quarter Creativity Award.
